I recently purchase a MacBook Pro to use when I’m not able to be in my office. I have it connected to a 24″ monitor, but the problem was that the laptop screen was much lower than the monitor and it was difficult to swap from screen to screen with the laptop on the tabletop, so I found this riser and it works perfectly. I love how it folds up to be stored when I’m not using it. The arms and hinges are very strong/sturdy, and I love being able to adjust the height to work on multiple surfaces versus a monitor stand or box that is a fixed height. Plus it matches my laptop perfectly!

I already had a laptop stand that I used at home, but it was a solid one-piece design that was very bulky to transfer to the office or a cafe/coffee shop.
I was looking for a second laptop stand that I could adjust AND that would fold to be mostly flat so it would easily fit in my laptop bag. The abilty to fold this stand makes it really worth the value.
I can’t stress that enough.
As a college student, a designer, and an artist, who carries their work with them almost EVERYWHERE, this stand is my bestfriend since it elevates my monitor so I do not have to look down for hours and incur back/neck pains, while also very light and easy to stash.
I love that I can adjust the stand with a lot of precision to fit any display style like for drawing on my iPad, or using my laptop to type, watching movies, etc.
My laptop is actually bigger than the stand, it’s 17in and this stand does not budge or buckle under the weight. It can handle a laptop much bigger than it but only at certain angles. Just don’t angle the stand too far forward or too far back and it will carry a larger laptop just fine.
Also, boy is it stable! The only time I found this stand to not be stable is when it’s on an uneven surface like a mattress, or if you angle it too far forward/backward. This happens because the stand is very light, if it were heavier then it would not fall forward/backward because of the weight of your laptop forcing it to. But that is a strength in my opinion since it makes the stand very convenient to carry in a messenger bag, satchel, or laptop bag.
Overall I really love this stand, so much so that I don’t even use the original one I bought for home use anymore 😅! The pink is really nice, very much like the photos and it’s a super convenient buy for any student, artist, or anyone who doesn’t want neck/back pain while using their laptop or equivalent device while on the go.
