The BY-BM3030 On-Camera Video Shotgun Microphone from Boya is a supercardioid condenser shotgun microphone with a 3.5mm mini-plug connector that is compatible with DSLRs, Mirrorless cameras, camcorders, and audio recorders. It can be used to capture audio in outdoor and indoor applications and is ideal for interviews and ENG (Electronic News Gathering) type events or picking up audio at a show or a concert. The microphone features an integrated shockmount with a camera shoemount and a 1/4″-20 socket, which helps eliminate vibrations when mounted on a boompole. The mic is powered by two AA batteries and features a headphone 3.5mm mini-jack connector for monitoring the incoming audio. Furthermore, the high-quality condenser capsule decreases ambient noise while recording sound with greater clarity. The BY-BM3030 On-Camera Video Shotgun Microphone includes a carrying pouch, a foam windscreen and a simulated fur windscreen that helps to decrease vocal plosives and wind noise when recording dialog. 2xAA Batteries are required (sold separately).
