I have had 3 FitBit brand trackers and 2, off-brand trackers before this one. I have to say, none of them have been what I would call extremely accurate, and each had its own quirks.
PROS: Pretty; Nice style; came with 2 extra bands-silicone; fairly accurate with the blood pressure reading-more so with the systolic reading than the diastolic one; sleep status seems pretty in line with the other trackers I had; oxygen reading seems to coincide with reading once/year from my doctor; good magnetic charger and fast charge; easy to change the watch faces and lots of choices; turning on my music on my phone from the watch is pretty cool.
CONS: Steps tracking is picky; it only seems to count the movement as a “step” if you are moving your arms forward and back at a pretty good clip. My other trackers were able to register pretty much every movement, even knitting or dancing.
I wouldn’t depend on the BP reading as “law.” The systolic reading is generally accurate within 1-2 mmHg either way, but the diastolic is more often off on the high side by up to 10 mmHg. I would assume the discrepancy might be due to the fact that the element that reads is not on the underside of my wrist.
Bottom line, it’s not the best tracker, but a pretty good one for the price. I’m not in a position to be able to afford a $300+ tracker, so you get what you pay for, I guess. Don’t depend on the BP reading if you are someone that needs to keep accurate records for a medical condition.
